Police Corruption in Ohio

I am going to tell you a true story, because it happened to me. Of course I am going to change names not to protect identities, but my own.
"Sigh" where do I begin, I suppose at the beginning would be a good start, I am living in a small town here in Ohio. At first, I enjoyed living in this town? But most recently, I am starting to hate this small town, I live in some apartments, here in Ohio and if you have ever lived in apartments before, you should be familiar with how they work. Everybody knows your business, even if you don't want them too. A few months ago, I had met my neighbors and it was the biggest regret I was about to make. I had been at war with previously because of there dog, because it would bark constantly. And at first, I would notify my landlords about the barking. And they said that they would talk to the "new" neighbors. Because they had just recently, moved in.
So I took there word, that they would but the barking kept on becoming more annoying.
And once again, I spoke to my landlords and basically the said in a "nutshell" "when you live in apartment there are noises you simply have to deal with. Easier said then done, especially when you have a hearing disorder called "Hyperacusis" think dog hearing and that's pretty much what it is. Don't worry I am going to get to the corruption part here shortly. Well just last in the past few days the dog died from "mysterious" circumstances and I was immediately accused of killing the dog, know granted I just wanted to get rid of the dog. Not cause it any harm, and they had not even preformed an autopsy yet? And here I was being blamed, my neighbors immediately started sending me death threats and called the police. Claimed, I had left a note on there door saying I was going to kill there dog. But I have yet to see this note, I suspect it was fabricated to make me look bad. And I was reported to the police as well, for supposedly making "death threats" against the dog. Forgive me if I am wrong what happened to due process? I always told by the police, that you needed some sort of proof? Not just here say, but when you 10 maybe 11 people fabricating thing's against you it's hard to prove your "innocence" and I am truly innocent in this whole thing. But to the police that's a different matter, what happen to protect and serve? Not harass the innocent, which is what basically happened to me. Allot of times when police, get involved in a dispute it's allot of he said she said. But I actually had the proof, I had copies of the threatening Emails, which I latter found out through the police that the mother of my neighbor had sent them. I even produced them to the police officer, I assumed that the mother would be the one getting in trouble? Wrong! I was told by the police officer, that if I had any contact with my neighbors that she would file harassment charges against me? And here is the thing, that's going to be extremely hard when you live next door to them. I have had my "issues" with the police in the past before but I could not believe all of this? It was like one of those nightmares you never can wake from even when you want to wake from one. I think what really, frosts my "cupcake" is that I have not been given to tell my side of the story at all. Talk about being judged, juried and executed in one fell swoop.
And I know what your thinking, why don't I just move. If I had could move it would be have to be out of state, yes my situation is really that bad. If you can't trust the police, who can you trust?
